In addition to providing an opportunity for camaraderie and brotherhood for those who served in the Armed Forces of The United States, Greenlawn American Legion Post 1244 is committed to the following:
Service to all our fellow veterans.
Supporting and encouraging those who are currently serving our country in the military. Welcoming them as brothers and sisters on their return to the community.
Projecting a positive image of veterans.
Encouraging a love of country and developing Americanism in our young people.
Remembering our fallen comrades and reminding our fellow citizens of the sacrifice they have made for our country.
